These terms explain the rules for using FormLox, including our website, waitlist, AI fitness coaching, lift analysis, workout and diet planning, recovery guidance, subscriptions, and pre-launch access.

1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FormLox, including our website, waitlist, mobile application, AI coaching features, lift analysis tools, workout and diet planning tools, recovery guidance, video editing tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing the website, joining the waitlist, creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use FormLox on behalf of another person or organisation, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2. Pre-Launch, Waitlist & Early Access
FormLox may be offered before general public release through a waitlist, beta, limited preview, TestFlight build, private distribution, or early-access program. Pre-launch and beta features may be incomplete, experimental, changed without notice, unavailable in certain regions, or removed before launch. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, release timing, pricing, availability, or any particular feature. We may contact waitlist members about product updates, early access, launch timing, and related announcements. You can unsubscribe from marketing or waitlist emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those emails.
3. Eligibility & Account Responsibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use FormLox. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Do not share your password, authentication tokens, or private account access with anyone else. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep account, health, fitness, and billing-related information up to date where relevant. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe account information is inaccurate, fraudulent, unsafe, or violates these Terms.
4. Fitness, Health & Medical Disclaimer
FormLox is a fitness and wellness technology product. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, emergency service, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice. The Service may provide workout suggestions, nutrition guidance, recovery recommendations, movement analysis, form feedback, habit suggestions, or AI-generated coaching responses. These outputs are informational and educational only. Before starting, changing, or intensifying any workout, diet, supplement, recovery, or wellness program, consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, pregnancy, disability, chronic pain, cardiovascular risk, eating disorder history, medication interaction risk, or other health concern. Stop exercising immediately and seek medical help if you experience chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, sharp pain, unusual swelling, neurological symptoms, or any other concerning symptoms.
5. AI Coaching & Automated Outputs
FormLox uses artificial intelligence and machine learning systems to generate responses, analyse patterns, and assist with planning. AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, overly general, or inappropriate for your individual circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated recommendations before acting on them. Do not rely on FormLox as your sole source for medical, nutritional, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. FormLox may personalise outputs based on information you provide, including goals, training history, injuries, preferences, and diet constraints. If that information is missing, inaccurate, or incomplete, recommendations may be less suitable or unsafe. We may update prompts, models, safety systems, ranking logic, and AI behaviour over time. Similar inputs may not always produce the same outputs.
6. Exercise Risk & User Responsibility
Exercise involves inherent risk, including soreness, strain, overtraining, falls, equipment injury, aggravation of existing conditions, and serious physical harm. You are solely responsible for selecting appropriate exercises, loads, intensity, range of motion, warmups, rest, nutrition, and recovery. Use proper equipment, safe surroundings, and qualified supervision where needed. Lift analysis and form feedback may miss issues because of camera angle, lighting, clothing, occlusion, video quality, device limitations, model limitations, or unusual movement patterns. Do not treat automated form feedback as a guarantee of safety or correctness.
7. Diet, Nutrition & Recovery Guidance
Nutrition, calorie, macro, supplement, hydration, and recovery guidance is informational only and may not suit every user. Do not use FormLox to treat medical conditions, eating disorders, allergies, deficiencies, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular conditions, or other health issues without professional medical supervision. If you have allergies, intolerances, religious dietary constraints, ethical preferences, medical nutrition requirements, or medication interactions, you are responsible for verifying all recommendations before following them.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or unsafe purposes • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or attack the Service • Upload malicious code, spam, deceptive content, or content that violates others' rights • Misrepresent your identity, health status, age, permissions, or affiliation • Use FormLox to generate or promote self-harm, extreme dieting, dangerous exercise, harassment, hate, exploitation, or illegal activity • Circumvent subscription limits, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions • Use automated tools to create accounts, submit waitlist entries, or generate abusive traffic We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we believe your use creates risk for FormLox, other users, third-party providers, or the public.
9. User Content & Permissions
You may submit messages, photos, videos, workout data, profile information, preferences, notes, and other content to the Service ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant FormLox a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, analyse, display, transmit, and use your User Content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, publicity rights, or any agreement with a third party. Do not upload videos, images, or personal data of other people without permission. If you submit gym footage, you are responsible for ensuring it does not unlawfully capture or expose bystanders.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information, health and fitness data, AI interaction data, analytics, and related information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be processed as described in the Privacy Policy. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy regarding privacy practices, the Privacy Policy controls for that issue.
11. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
Some FormLox features may be free, paid, usage-limited, subscription-based, or available only during a beta or early-access period. If subscriptions or paid plans are offered through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, and payment disputes may be governed by that provider's terms in addition to these Terms. Unless otherwise stated, paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not want to continue. We may change pricing, plan limits, feature availability, or promotional terms with notice where required by law. Because the app is not yet publicly launched, any displayed pricing, plan names, or limits may be pre-release information and may change before launch.
12. Intellectual Property
FormLox, including its name, logos, interface, software, designs, text, graphics, videos, models, prompts, workflows, and other materials, is owned by FormLox or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of FormLox or any FormLox intellectual property. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms and any applicable app store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service unless we expressly permit it in writing.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party platforms, infrastructure providers, AI providers, app stores, analytics tools, email providers, payment processors, social networks, or other services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may require separate permissions or agreements.
14. Availability, Changes & Support
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent access to any feature, or compatibility with every device, network, camera setup, exercise, or region. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time, including during beta or pre-launch periods. We may also impose usage limits to protect performance, safety, security, or cost stability. Support is provided through the contact methods listed on the website or in the app. We do not guarantee a specific response time unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
15. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using FormLox at any time. You may also request account deletion where account functionality is available. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or safety risk, abused the Service, infringed rights, attempted to bypass security, or used the Service in a way that could harm FormLox or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, payment obligations, and dispute-related provisions.
16. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and safety. We do not guarantee that recommendations, analysis, plans, calorie estimates, movement feedback, AI responses, or video edits will be accurate, safe, effective, suitable, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FormLox and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, personal injury, training setbacks, subscription losses, or business interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to FormLox for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing directly to FormLox. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FormLox from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of third-party rights.
19. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable consumer protection laws and mandatory rights in your location. Unless a different rule is required by applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be handled under the laws applicable to the operator of FormLox as identified in the relevant app store listing, website, invoice, or official company record. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@formlox.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may provide additional notice through the website, app, or email. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service.
